In the framework of the 60th edition of the Congress of the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy (SEFH), last November 11 and 12, 2015, the CreaInnova Institute, together with Moving Contents, designed and conducted workshops on fundamental concepts of cancer immunotherapy with the aim of training pharmaceutical professionals, in this case, on general biological aspects of immunology, as well as the benefits it brings to the patient and the main existing therapies in the field of oncology (tumor vaccines, cellular therapies and immunomodulators).
The workshops were directed by Dr. Matilde Martínez Casanovas and counted with the sponsorship of Bristol-Myers Squibb and with the participation of Dr. María Jesús Lamas, of the Pharmacy Service of the University Hospital Complex of Santiago de Compostela; of the Dras. Blanca Homet and Lidia Robert, both medical oncologists specializing in immuno-oncology at the University of California (UCLA). [Access]
